If your home loan is completely paid off, it’s still smart to continue homeowner’s insurance. You want to protect your investment. But, paid off or not paid off, you still don’t want to overpay for the coverage on your homeowners insurance, right?
Are your health care and health insurance costs rising? These days, more and more people are trying to lower their medical spending. Consumer Reports say that only about 31% of Americans try to negotiate their medical bill prices. However, those reports also tell us that those who do try to negotiate usually succeed in saving significant money. If you’re ready to negotiate and save money, then look at the tips below.
Do you want to save money? It’s possible to save $500 or more per month.
But, how do you make it work?
For several years, health care expenses have been on the rise. For nearly every household, healthcare costs continue to be a major expense. The expense for the care itself continues to increase, and, naturally, insurance costs tend to rise also. Discovering ways to lower these costs can be well worth your time.
Here are several tips and tactics that could reduce your health care costs:
After the cost of tuition and books, a lot of college students may not be so eager to spend even more money to buy renters’ insurance. This might, usually, be a mistake.
For a student living on-campus, they’re not probably worried about renters insurance. That is if their parents’ homeowner’s policy will cover any loss or damage to personal items. But, verify if the parents’ policy does include “off-premises coverage”. It’s not guaranteed.
Let’s get the confusion out of the way. Veterans Day commemorates ALL veterans, alive or not. (Memorial day is the holiday that is reserved for those who gave their lives during service to our country.)

Money-Saving Strategies to Lower Auto Insurance Costs.
When you’re looking for ways to reduce expenses, consider the money you spend on car insurance. Reduce what you pay to insure your vehicle with these strategies.
Of course, everyone knows that you are legally required to carry insurance for your vehicle. But, you don’t have to overpay for that coverage. Look for an affordable option for your monthly insurance premium. Your insurance carrier charges a recurring expense that will impact your budget, so it’s important.
Who needs health insurance? The fact is: health insurance makes healthcare more accessible and affordable. Yes, this includes preventive services like regular check-ups with your doctor and health screenings. (By the way, Open Enrollment for health insurance is Nov. 1st – Dec. 15th)
For example, in 2019, only one-third of the U.S population’s uninsured citizens set up a preventive service visit with a doctor. In contrast, during that same year, 74% of adults with health insurance got in to see their doctor for a preventive visit.
Do your homework before getting homeowners’ insurance.
Use this list and consult your independent insurance agent so they can do some comparison shopping for your home insurance. After you look over all the facts related to your dwelling, you and your agent will be prepared and ready to get the best deal on your homeowners’ insurance policy.

If you are looking for an insurance agency you can trust, look no further than Hettler Insurance. Meghan and the team... are refreshingly professional and easy to work with. I was with my previous insurance agency for two years, but they were no match for Meghan at Hettler. She was able to find the same policy/coverage with a significantly lower premium (with the potential for even more savings after 90 days). Every one of the staff is courteous, attentive, and helpful. Thanks Meghan and everyone at Hettler!read more

A friend recommended Hettler Insurance Agency for my family’s health insurance last year. As new immigrants, we got... totally lost with what we can choose and how. Mr. Hettler has been so patient to us with full explanation of the policies and all the guidance we need. We are very thankful to him with the insurance package we get. Ron Hettler and his staff are the best. I have used Ron for personal and business insurance for 20+ years, with no... regrets. Recently he helped me sign up for Medicare supplemental insurance. We spent a good hour going over the endless inane paperwork, even though I know his compensation for this is next to nothing. Good people, good insurance.read more
What a waste of time trying to get a quote for my business. spent two days filling out their applications, then they... just stop communicating. I use Hettler Insurance Agency for my car insurance. When I first started with them, they found an insurance company... that saved my like, $80 from what I had found on my own, so I ended up paying $165/month for full coverage. A few months ago, that policy went up to $187/month and I just kinda rolled with it. But yesterday, I decided to give Hettler a call and just ask if there was anything they could do. The fella I spoke with said “sure, we’ll shop around for you and give you a call by the end of the day.”Within the day, I got called back and they had found a plan with the same coverage for $116/month. All that cost me was 2 minutes on the phone. My point is, if you ask your friends on social media who has the best insurance, you’re going about it all wrong. Go to Hettler and they’ll do all the shopping and looking around for you.read more
